Seek, Don't Hide

Isaiah 55:6

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but we are living in some trying and desperate times. The things unfolding before our eyes are constantly changing at a rapid pace. We have gone from a powerful and feared, and respected nation, to a cowering nation that has bowed and kissed the ring of other kings.

No longer is the USA the leader of the free world. Instead, we have become enslaved and indentured to the world. Are these desperate times? Oh yes! Without a doubt. But it's only get more desperate. If what we see now are merely signs, they are signs that we have been warned about, and we should take heed by keeping our eyes and ears fixed on Jesus.

2 Timothy 3:1 "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come"

The next election cycle is not going to alter God's plan. The next grand secular movement isn't going to make God change His mind. God's judgment is coming soon and it's going to be swift.

Before Jesus' feet lands on the Mount of Olives when He returns, there will be seven years of the Great Tribulation. And you can bet that desperation won't be a word adequate to describe the chaos this world will go through during those seven years. It will indeed pale in comparison to what we are witnessing today. (Matthew 24:21; Daniel 9-12; Revelation 6-17)

For the Christian, who has been forgiven, justified, sanctified, and saved by the atoning blood of Jesus, will be spared the utter misery and the torment of God's wrath that will come in the form of His righteous judgment. It will be like nothing this world has ever seen or has ever experience before.

As we see the days pass, there is still time for you to escape the coming tragedies. We just have no idea as to when the Lord will return. So far, the rapture of the church hasn't happened yet, and the tribulation period hasn't come. Satan hasn't set up his Antichrist in the temple, because the Third Temple hasn't been built yet.

But don't get all comfy just yet. As we see things change and escalate by the hour, we cannot think for a moment that God is going to hold back what He promised from the beginning. It's time to seek Him now while He can still be found. Your salvation is for today, but only if you call upon Him to save you. He's the only one who can!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

The world as we know it will change. But the change that God will cause will be unlike anything we have ever seen before.

It is time to put aside your fleshly desires to be just another sheep following the world to the slaughterhouse. Jesus gave His life so that you could and would be forgiven of all your sins; past, present, and future. He rose from the dead so you too can have a living hope of the promise He gives for eternal life in glory.

Seek Him today, right now, and be born again. It's the only way you can escape the pending judgment, and death of your soul. He stands at the door of your heart and is knocking. Are you going to let Him in?

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
